Summary

The Pellet Fuels Institute (PFI) is a non-profit association that serves the pellet industry.

PFI has developed and published Standard Specification for Residential/Commercial Densified Fuel and the PFI
Residential/Commercial QA/QC Handbook.  PFI has entered into an agreement for ALSC to serve as the accreditation body
for a voluntary third-party inspection program utilizing these documents.  Densified Fuel mills meeting the program requirements
will be able to label their products conforming to the PFI Standard, as appropriate.

Current PFI documents and more information are available on the PFI website - www.pelletheat.org
