WPM Program Enforcement Regulations

Heat Treated Wood Packaging Material

The ALSC Wood Packaging Material (WPM) Enforcement Regulations based on the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) Guidelines for Regulating Wood Packaging Material in International Trade and pursuant to the Memorandum of Understanding with the United States Department of Agricultures’ Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) are, by definition, the guiding document by which the Board of Review evaluates the competency, reliability, and adequacy of the agency performance.

The Enforcement Regulations for the WPM program, developed through the Enforcement Subcommittee of the ALSC, and approved by the ALSC set forth the requirements for initial and continuing accreditation of agencies.
